Tim Berners Lee

Tim Berners Lee is a computer scientist who discovered and developed a virtual global network or the WWW in the world of Information Technology. If the internet is a highway where the traffic flow data, the WWW is a browser. now, the browser used is Internet exploler, Netscape, Mozilla, and Google Crome. Berners Lee also wrote the software that describes the Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML), the Uniform Resource Locator (URL), and Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP).


Overall it is a language used by many people to view a site and site protocol how the site can be found on the internet and communicate with each other. This WWW discovery began when Lee working at CERN, Europe's particle physics laboratory in 1980. Berners Lee wanted to create a software that can link data and information that he had with other researchers so that they can work more efficiently. The software is called Enquire, short for Enquire Within Upon Everything. Lee then launched its browser in 1991, but not many people who use the media on the WWW. A few years later a man named Marc Andressen launched a more popular browser, Mosaic. Marc then founded Nescape. Since then the Internet and WWW users is growing rapidly.
